Random pictures. (Spring 2014.)

Laura, feeling pretty awesome her flute performance at the Solo Festival in which she scored big:

Gluten free chocolate cake ("I love you, Baby"):

Steve's nephew was married in Provo, so we visited BYU's campus (ate ice cream at the Creamery):

Then sent Laura a picture of her future home (hopefully didn't jinx anything):

Noelle has been begging me for school lunch for a long time.  At the end of 1st grade, she tried to pull this stunt:

Dress rehearsal for her ballet recital:

Braces off after 3 long years:

 Lincoln's super eventful 14th birthday.

Noelle, after her ballet performance:

Christmas 2013

Over Christmas break, we dog-sat the Bishop's dog, Izzy.  She loved to sit on laps.  Chewie was a little possessive.

 Cookies, of course:

Noelle's note to Santa:

A prize to the one who can guess how many different hats/headbands Steve wore in this post without scrolling through the pictures again to count!

Noelle's 7th Birthday

We lucked out because the movie Frozen came out in the theaters right before Noelle's birthday.  She invited three friends to go see it with her, then we ate cake and rode the merry-go-round.  She's been singing "Let It Go" ever since.  Seriously.  Every day since.

Trip to Chicago November 2013

Last November Steve wanted to take the boys to the BYU @ Notre Dame football game, and we decided to make a fun short trip of it.  So we stayed in Chicago overnight, then Steve and the boys drove to South Bend while the girls and I stayed in Chicago and went to see Wicked.

Here's the view from our hotel room:

We went to the Lego store, and the store had this amazing screen that copied your movements:

A gingerbread town in the hotel lobby:

Right before we left to see the show in the hotel lobby:

Waiting for the show to begin:

Afterward, the taxi driver had to drop us off several blocks before our hotel because a parade was blocking the way.  It was so cold outside, we decided to wait in the  Ghirardelli chocolate shop unit the parade was over.  Here's Noelle with her hot chocolate:

Laura was grumpy because someone elbowed her as we were looking for a place to sit.  Her hot chocolate spilled down the front of her coat.

I had to pee, and we couldn't find a restroom, so I contented myself with an ice cream sundae:
